Liffey / Rova Update Week 3 - Nol15736 - 2025-11-24 The season is going along and we are now 8 games in Liffeyside is sitting in 10th place which is about where I had us to start the season. The biggest surprise has been the most recent game where we were able to beat Reykjavik 3-1 in a tight game. Seeing us beating a team who hasn't finished below 3rd in the standings since season 10 was a nice surprise and shows that we are growing and getting better. It's only a matter of time before Liffey will be competing regularly with everyone in the top half of the table. Another reason for optimism in the Liffey / Rova locker room is sitting in 2nd place in the minor league table. Rova is 7-0-1 with our only loss coming in match 2 against Paris. We are not blowing people out of the water, but it is clear our tactics and our team constantly updating has made Rova a team that people should fear to play. We are 8 points clear of 3rd place, and barring a collapse it looks like a good bet we will make the upper half of the minor league divisions after the league splits next season. Tank Dentstro is 3rd in the league with 7 goals, and Orla Hughes-Galloway has twice won PoTM with two braces, showing she is also a threat to score at any time. All in all there is a lot to like with where the org sits and we have a lot of hope for a bright future in the upcoming seasons.
