Academy Task 5: Victoria Falls Eagles Draft Primer - Turd Ferguson - 2025-12-06
Hello all, for my deep dive I will be taking a look at my academy team’s roster, diving into where our active users line up on the pitch, what they each bring to the squad on match day, and what kind of value they could add to the team that eventually drafts them. So without further ado, let’s jump into it!
Brad Woof – Brad Woof – GK – 316 TPE
Key Stats: 9 appearances, 5 clean sheets
Traits: None
Top Attributes: Aerial Reach, Reflexes, Command of Area
Analysis: A black hole, the Great Wall of China, Brad Woof. What do all three have in common? They are completely impenetrable! With five clean sheets out of nine appearances this season, Big Bad Brad has been lockdown in the Eagles net. Like most of the roster, Brad is an ISFLer and should bring plenty of sim league experience to whichever team drafts him.
Vumion – Vumion Stitcherson – RWB – 315 TPE
Key Stats: 9 appearances, 2 goals, 2 assists
Traits: Shoots with Power; Gets Crowd Going
Top Attributes: Acceleration, Pace
Analysis: A pacey winger who is capable of supporting his side’s attack as well as dropping back in coverage, Vumion is a slam dunk pick for whichever squad grabs him. Outside of his promising SSL build, he serves as the London GM in DSFL. As such, Vumion should bring a keen eye for scouting and sim testing to his new locker room (and he’ll do your audit sheet)!
Ltblackgrizzly – Bodhi Grizz – CDM – 356 TPE
Key Stats: 9 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist
Traits: Tries Long Range Passes; Marks Opponent Tightly
Top Attributes: Acceleration, Pace, Strength
Analysis: LT has decided to hold down the middle of the field, serving as a defensive stalwart in the back third while also looking to hoof the ball forward to his strikers. This speedy boi is also a DSFL GM (Norfolk) and has been around the block in sim leagues, meaning he will be an excellent addition to whichever locker room he joins. LT is probably the friendliest dude I’ve met across four sim leagues, so I have no doubt he will be a fan favorite wherever he winds up.
Turd Ferguson – Turd Ferguson – LWB – 327 TPE
Key Stats: No stats accumulated (yet)
Traits: Cuts Inside from Both Wings; Brings Ball Out of Defense
Top Attributes: Acceleration, Dribbling, Crossing
Analysis: I’m currently trying to build an inverted wing back who can play a supporting role on offense by adding some width while also being capable of laying back in the defending third and marking my man. We’ll see how it goes!
Joriel – Jonathon Jameston – CM – 331 TPE
Key Stats: 9 appearances, 1 goal, 2 assists
Traits: Dictates Tempo; Looks for Pass Rather Than Attempting to Score
Top Attributes: Vision, Passing, Pace
Analysis: Our field general, the man who makes it all happen. With eagle eyes and a sixth sense for where the ball should go, Jonathan Jameston is our rock in the midfield! Another ISFLer (and SHLer) with plenty of sim experience, Joriel is a member of the London Royals posse and should be an active contributor to their locker room.
armond2193 – Stan Smith – CAM – 313 TPE
Key Stats: 8 appearances, 2 goals, 3 assists
Traits: Runs with Ball Through Centre; Likes to Beat Opponent Repeatedly
Top Attributes: Acceleration, Pace, Passing
Analysis: An absolute madlad with the ball, armond is one of our strongest passers and most important playmakers. I just recently met armond as they kindly welcomed me to the league, and I have no doubt they will be a fun teammate and someone who should go high in the draft (1OA or bust)!
WildfireMicro – Peach Toadstool – ST – 334 TPE
Key Stats: 7 appearances, 2 goals, 1 assist
Traits: Gets Into Opposition Area; Gets Crowd Going
Top Attributes: Pace, Finishing, First Touch
Analysis: A fan favorite, Peach Toadstool recently broke through for a pair of goals, leading the Eagles’ attacking efforts. I’ve been in multiple leagues with WildfireMicro (SSL, ISFL, SCSFL) and they are always an active and interesting user who is knowledgeable on a variety of topics and can chat it up with the best of them. Definitely a huge get for whoever drafts them!
Soviet Sexpot – Scat Cat – ST – 369 TPE
Key Stats: 9 appearances, 9 goals
Traits: Gets Forward Whenever Possible; Shoots With Power
Top Attributes: Acceleration, Pace, Balance
Analysis: What more is there to say? I don’t know a ton about soccer but averaging a goal per game seems like an absolutely insane accomplishment. Scat Cat is, quite simply put, our MVP. And having just scouted them for the DSFL draft, I can say with certainty that they are a lot of fun and will do absolutely everything necessary to max earn. Do not miss out on this prospect!
