ASP vs LON S11 MD14 Review - Nion - 2025-12-08

Reviewing AS Paris vs Inter London on Matchday 14 for S11. I promise I'm not doing Inter London matches on purpose, ok. I told y'all it was random.
 
But first, let's have a look at the Division One ladder on MD13:

This is a really big relegation fight, this is their last chance, either go big or go home.

In the 32nd-33rd minute, Isabela Cortez was making the run with the ball, but Gavin Millar was applying the pressure, Isabela can barely see as Isabela attempts to pass to Milan Horvat, but-  What the- Bud-Lite 'Large Box' McGuirk intercepts the pass? HOW MANY MORE WEIRD NAMES DO I HAVE TO DEAL WITH?! Anyway, Large Box makes a first touch pass to Donna Rumma- I AM STARTING TO LOSE MY SANITY! Sorry. Donna passes to Bob Divesinalot- LET ME TALK! Bob passes to Elmis The Heretic (apparently) (also the goalkeeper), Elmis passes back to Bob, and he passes back to Donna, so I can definitely say, "Donna Rumma, Bob Divesinalot, and Elmis The Heretic passes the ball to each other wasting time." Donna passes to Gavin, Gavin makes a first touch pass to Large Box, Large Box passes to Jerry, Jerry passes to Pierre Houde, Pierre passes back to Gavin, back to Pierre, back to Gavin, back to Pierre, back to Gavin again, Gavin passes to Large Box, back to Gavin, back to Pierre, back to Gavin, back to Large Box, back to Pierre, back to Gavin, back to Large Box, back to Gavin, back to Large Box, now is the perfect time to say, "Pierre Houde, Gavin Millar, and Bud-Lite 'Large Box' McGuirk passes the ball to each other wasting time." Jerry is actually the player's name btw, no last name, no nickname, just Jerry. Anyway, Large Box finally doesn't pass to Gavin or Pierre, but passes to Dexter Mannone, Dexter shoots OUTSIDE THE BOX, AND HE DELIVERS IT WELL INTO THE BACK OF THE NET AND IT WAS SO POWERFUL THAT WHEN IT BOUNCED OUT OF THE NET, IT LANDED OUTSIDE OF THE GOAL LINE!

In the 76th-77th minute, Inter London won a Goal Kick. Do I need to tell you who's taking it? Elmis The Heretic passes to Donna Rumma, Donna passes back to Elmis, Elmis passes to Bob Divesinalot, Bob starts running forward with the ball, but he ends up passing backwards to Elmis again. Elmis decides to cross to K Clamence, Hoban Washburne is applying the pressure, but K reaches to the ball, and attempts to nod it to Dexter Mannone, but Eirlys Snooks gets the ball first. Eirlys passes the ball to Mac Allister- OK, AT THIS POINT, THEY MIGHT AS WELL CREATE VINICIUS JR! Anyway, Mac passes to Milan Horvat, passes to Malakai Black, passes to Henrik Lind, passes to Eirlys, back to Milan, back to Malakai, back to Henrik, back to Eirlys, back to Henrik, back to Malakai, and now it's AS Paris's turn to get the tiki-taka shame. "Malakai Black, Henrik Lind, and Eirlys passes the ball to each other wasting time." Malakai finally passes to Heather Bull, Heather passes to Isabela Cortez, Isabela makes a really good cross to Leonidas Papadopoulos, and now it's his turn to score from outside the box, and he delivers it really well, it could be the start of a 1-0 comeback.

This next highlight is gonna take a bit to record, it has a lot of stuff going on, but I will try.
 
In the 89th-90th minute, Inter London won a throw in with Pierre Houde to take it. Pierre throws it to Donna Rumma, but Donna nods it back to Pierre just like every other throw in that I've reviewed (the thrower throws it to one of his teammates, then the teammate passes the ball back to the thrower). Pierre crosses the ball to K Clamence, K passes the ball to Jerry, Jerry crosses the ball to Dexter Mannone, Dexter passes back to Bud-Lite 'Large Box' McGuirk, Large Box passes to Fallon D'Floor, Fallon passes back to Dexter, back to Large Box, Large Box shoots, but Malakai Black blocks the shot, and he gets the possession back. Malakai crosses to whoever, but it ends up in Donna's hand, Malakai thought he was with Inter London. Donna passes to Gavin Millar, passes back to Donna, Donna passes to Pierre, passes to Jerry, Jerry attempts to make the run, but the ends up passing back to Pierre as he passes to Gavin, Gavin attempts the cross to Walter Pinkman, but Henrik Lind is gonna nod the ball first, and the ball goes to Borey Barflett's hand (the goalkeeper). Borey decides to roll the ball to Hoban Washburne, Hoban passes to Jay Bryzski, passes to Isabela Cortez, Isabela attempts to cross to Leonidas Papadopoulos again, but Bob Divesinalot makes a good read attempting to clear the ball, but Mac Allister only just gets the ball, and Bob might've just costed the game. Mac attempts to make the run, he finds Leonidas, but he decides to pass back to Mac, but Mac wasn't aware of Leonidas's move, and the ball lands on Fallon's feet. Fallon attempts to cross to Dexter, yet Eirlys Snooks gets that ball first, and Fallon might be one of two who costs the game. It was hard to tell who, but Eirlys passes the ball to Malakai, Malakai passes to Mac, Mac passes to Leonidas to try again, AND HE CLUTCHES UP! LEONIDAS PAPADOPOULOS SCORES THE BRACE FOR THE WIN AND THE POSSIBILITY OF AVOIDING RELEGATION!

AS Paris 2-1 Inter London
 
Leonidas Papadopoulos won and deserved the PoTM award with an 8.5 rating, and Dexter Mannone and Bud-Lite 'Large Box' McGuirk were the best performing players for Inter London with a 7.3 rating.
This was a brilliant ending for AS Paris since Eirlys Snooks and Malakai Black were retiring, and Hendrik Lind and Heather Bull were leaving AS Paris.
