Stockholm IK Draft Primer - Turd Ferguson - 2025-12-15
Hello dear reader, I am back once more with the final draft primer of this academy class. This time I will be taking a look at Stockholm IK, diving into where their active users line up on the pitch, what they each bring to the squad on match day, and what kind of value they could add to the team that eventually drafts them. So without further ado, let’s jump into it for the final time this draft season!
soevil – Austin Morley – CD – 371 TPE
Key Stats: 8 appearances; 91.9 Pass %; 85.71 Tackle %
Traits: Gets Crowd Going; Marks Opponent Tightly
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Pace; Marking
Analysis: A solid defender who has been a rock on the backline for Stockholm, Austin Morley is headed for a long and illustrious career in the goal prevention business. And soevil is sure to be a high earner, as he has already demonstrated via his self-scouting post from a few days ago, not to mention his track record in the ISFL.
chaserck – Jerry Kirkland– CM – 313 TPE
Key Stats: 8 appearances; 3 assists; 20 key passes
Traits: Looks For Pass Rather Than Attempting To Score; Tries Killer Balls Often
Top Attributes: Vision; Passing; Decisions
Analysis: Who said there was something wrong with Kirkland Signature brand? Not me! Mr. Kirkland has been a passing maven this season, directing his team’s offense to the tune of 3 assists and 20 key passes. And while Chaser hasn’t been very active on the discord, he has been hitting his ACs and has a chance to snag a decent draft spot with some solid scouting conversations.
KiwiFooty12 – Johnboy Maiava – CAM – 286 TPE
Key Stats: 2 appearances; 70 pass %
Traits: Runs With Ball Often; Tries Killer Balls Often
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Agility; Dribbling
Analysis: One of the more recent additions to this draft class, kiwifooty has not had the chance to show off their skills on the pitch, but there are plenty more matches to play! Off the pitch, this user is a bit of a black box, as they have not joined the SSL discord (as far as I can tell), and have not been earning particularly well. Time will tell how things pan out in this case.
Saket23 – Patrick Zwieg – CAM – 351 TPE
Key Stats: 8 appearances; 2 POTM; 4 goals
Traits: Likes To Try To Beat Offside Trap; Moves Into Channels
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Pace; Finishing
Analysis: One of the top players in this academy season, Patrick Zwieg has been an absolute monster with 4 goals and 2 player of the match shouts in his 8 appearances. Off the field, Saket is goated. While I may be a bit biased given that Saket is one of my GMs in PBE, I do think this is one of the best users in this draft. Whoever picks up Saket will be getting a great locker room presence who brings plenty of war room experience, and should have top tier predictions every week!
Pannekoek – Sergio Raskel – CDM – 323 TPE
Key Stats: 6 appearances; 1 goal; 90.54 pass %
Traits: Brings Ball Out Of Defense; Shoots From Distance
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Jumping Reach; Pace
Analysis: Sergio Raskel is one of the few outfield players I’ve seen in this academy class to put significant points into Jumping Reach. I don’t know a ton about the sim engine but this seems like an interesting choice! In any case, it has played out fairly well for old Sergio, as he is one of the top passers in the league. This user does not appear to be particularly active on Discord, but they have purchased some seasonal equipment and hit all their ACs, which counts for quite a bit in my opinion.
Steee – Stefano Rosini – LAM – 364 TPE
Key Stats: 8 appearances; 1 POTM; 1 goal; 3 assists
Traits: Cuts Inside From Both Wings; Gets Forward Whenever Possible
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Agility; Pace
Analysis: Stefano Rosini has been all over the field for Stockholm, scoring a goal while racking up three assists and a player of the match shout. And user Steee has been all over the discord, participating actively and earning at a very high rate (6th in the class in total TPE). He should be in serious consideration for a top five pick come draft day.
Coachsj35 – Tito Esposito – CAM – 317 TPE
Key Stats: 5 appearances; 2 goals; 1 assist
Traits: Dictates Tempo; Gets Crowd Going
Top Attributes: Concentration; Vision; Work Rate
Analysis: This is actually Coachsj’s second go-round in SSL, as my research has uncovered that he had planned to create a goalkeeper over the summer, though that plan appears to not have panned out. What remains to be seen is whether he will keep going with this player or fizzle out, but thus far all indications point to this being a long and successful career for coach.
Davidlostt7 – Xuxu Jang – RAM – 304 TPE
Key Stats: 6 appearances; 2 assists; 7.48 average rating
Traits: Cuts Inside From Both Wings; Moves Into Channels
Top Attributes: Acceleration; Agility; Balance
Analysis: A sparkling (I assume?) 7.48 average game rating illustrates Xuxu Jang’s value on the field. And while I was not able to find this user on the SSL Discord, they’ve hit their last three activity checks and still have enough bank to purchase some individual equipment. If they start submitting preds and show a little more activity, there’s no reason they can’t be a steal in the upcoming draft.
