Biggest contributing team per region in the WSFC - FuriousChicken - 2026-01-10
Welcome to a small little article about the different teams that are at certain of the WSFC nations. So let us go by each nation, and see which team/organization is most involved in this nation. Be aware the team data is from the index, which means it is from the end of last season.
Oceania: The 3 biggest teams in Oceania are Romana, Tokyo and Krung Thep, all having 2 players representing Oceania. When looking at the organizations the Tenochtitlan/Krung Thep organization win it with 3 representatives (1 from Tenochtitlan, and 2 from Krung Thep).
South America:
For South America the biggest team is once again Romana with 2 players, When looking at organizations it is also the Romana/London org with 3 players in total.
Norden: For Norden the biggest contributing team is Schwarzwälder with 3 players, looking at orgs Montréal’s 1 player get added making them the biggest contributing org as well.
Asia: A very much grouped team, with 2 players being the most any team contributes, however 2 players is contributes by Liffeyside, Masques, Sao Paulo, Seoul, and Xelaju. If we go to orgs of course Xelaju and Masques combined make the biggest org with 4 players.
West Africa: Technically speaking the free agent pool is the biggest contributor with 3 player, with no team having more than 1 player contributed, this is also the only team with an academy player in the squad. This free agent story stays the same of course when looking for orgs, however there we do have Hollywood/Kaapstad, Reykjavik/North Shore, and Tokyo/Cairo delivering 2 players each.
Central America & Caribbean: Another region with free agents as the biggest contributor and no team over 1 player, this time there are 5 free agents. For orgs this of course stays the same, and no orgs have more than 1 player either.
Benelux: For Benelux there is a bit of a return to the first 4 teams, at least most of them, with 2 players from 1 team being the most there is, for Benelux these teams are Liffeyside and Sao Paulo. For orgs both of these teams add their minor team player for 3 in total.
USA: For the USA we once again see 2 players from a team being the most, however this is from a lot of different teams, with only 2 players being without a teammate on this team, the teams that are represented being Kaapstad, Liffeyside, Paris, Schwarzwälder, Shanghai, and Tokyo. When looking at orgs those 2 Kaapstad players get joined by the 1 Hollywood player, making their org the biggest with 3.
Canada: Yet another nation with 2 players from 1 team as the max, this teams being Reykjavik And technically speaking also free agents. For the orgs Reykjavik and the free agents are joined by the Hollywood/Kaapstad org.
Eurasia: Technically speaking the 4 free agents are the biggest group, however there are 2 teams with 2 players represented these being Buenos Aires and Reykjavik. For orgs Buenos Aires is the biggest with 3 in total, 2 from Buenos Aires and 1 from Athenai.
British Isles: Finally a region with more than 2 players from their biggest contributing team, this team being CD Tenochtitlan with 3 players represented. With orgs they are joined by the Shanghai/Magyar org who combined also have 3 players.
Alpine Federation: And we continue with the 3 player teams being the biggest, this time for the Alpine Federation where Shanghai contributes 3 players being the biggest contributor. However they are not joined or increased for the org, their 3 still being the biggest org for the Alpine Federation.
Pyrenees Union: Once again, another region with 1 team providing 3 players, this time it is Sao Paulo having 3 players for the Pyrenees Union, this increases further to 4 when including the 1 player from Paris for the biggest contributing org.
Central Europe: For Central Europe, there are 2 teams that provide 3 players, which is the first so far, these 2 teams being Schwarzwälder and Xelaju. For the org ranking Xelaju and Masques reaching 4 players, however Schwarzwälder together with Montréal moves up to 5 players being the biggest contributing org.
East Africa: For East Africa, Reykjavik is the biggest contributing team with 3 players, and when adding the 2 North Shore players moving it up to 5 on the org ranking, the Reykjavik/North Shore is the biggest org contributor for East Africa.
Eastern Europe: And after so many regions that had their biggest contributing team on 3, for the final region we go back to teams with 2 players being the biggest, these teams being Masques, Mpanjaka, Paris, and Romana. For orgs these stay the biggest at 2, however Hollywood/Kaapstad do get added also having 2 players contributed to this region.
