WSFC Dreams - lemonoppy - 2026-01-12

Man, this offseason feels a bit long! It's cool seeing the World Cup in the SSL (especially with the IRL shit show that is the real World Cup), but as a newly drafted player, it's a bit sad to not be able to take part! I was wondering what would be the best way to get into the most World Cups as a player as you could reasonably be a part of. Positionally, being a defender or CDM is probably your best bet, as those positions usually are less populated or maybe less desirable to play just because people love to score goals. I wonder if it is best to create in the season I did, that is, the season that the WSFC started or the season right after it, just from a perspective of getting into as many WSFC games as possible. I think you're probably better off creating in the season that the WSFC happens, that way you are probably getting in for the first roster you are eligible at a higher level of TPE, rather than gambling for the selection when you're around 800 TPE as a defender. I think my player goal is now to be selected at every WSFC I can be, which is about three? Season 16 is probably doom now with how the physical regressions work.

WSFC making this offseason real long. You can always transfer regions to make it onto a team.
