Cataluna tests Fry on the Right - CuriousShadow - 2026-02-08

Season 24 is upon us.  Fry is still buoyed by the improbable victory in the World Cup, having played right striker in every match.  For a player that only plays on the left, this was much of a surprise.  Upon his return to Cataluna... there was news.  Fry will be taking over the Right Winger duties from Bonito, and Bonito will be going up top to score all the goals.  A new left attacking midfielder has arrived, and given Fry's experience... changes are required.  Disappointing, opportunistic.  We are not sure whether this is a good move, but it is a move in any case.

Cataluna started strong, winning the game against Schwarzenballerbigger.  Cataluna's second match only resulted in a draw, but still.  These are much better results than last season.  Fry is still holding on to 100+ unspent TPE, and there are decisions to be made.  Further, Fry has neglected his seasonal write-up to get those other bonuses.  lazy, disappointing, necessary.  We have the funds to buy a new position, but really we need to do enough of the write-ups to get a free positional addition.  There's a considerable amount of work in front of us this season, but Fry is off to an excellent start.
