St-Louis in Sydney - sadie - 2026-03-02
Sadie St-Louis has enjoyed a fun start to her career with Sydney City FC! It's a city she had always wanted to visit in a country she had always wanted to go to and it's fortunate that she's landed here in Academy play. Sadie has impressed fans and scouts so far with her dynamic play up the left side and has grown more comfortable, especially in recent games. St-Louis has her first goal already, to go along with 2 assists from the left wingback position, but has lacked quality in a lot of her longer passes, with criticisms including not being effective enough in her tackles and playing poorer long passes than she should be. She's also had a massive error that resulted in a goal against, although it didn't end up affecting the outcome of the game.
St-Louis is ranked 31st out of 101 players in match rating, and has steadily put in better performances. She'll hope to be leaned on more by her team going into the latter portion of the season, and be able to show SSL clubs what she is made of. Overall, it's been a pretty good start for the Canadian, and she's looking forward to making her country very proud going forward.
