Brodie James Post-Match Interview after getting promoted - Nion - 2026-03-18

Interviewer: "Alright North Shore United, I'm here with Brodie James, the thunder from down under here with us on the main stage. Now, Brodie, you just got promoted to the 1st division of the Minor League whilst going undefeated, how does that feel now that North Shore can make it back to the top?"

Brodie James: "Uhh, yeah I'm feeling good about this man. I mean, knowing that we went from bottling so many damn leads to going undefeated 9 wins and a draw, it's just one step to getting North Shore back to the top of the Minors and possibly even the SSL cup."

Interviewer: "Love man, now you had a bit of competition during the season, what are your thoughts on it?"

Brodie James: "Yeah, I'll give it to Seoul, London, and Rapid Magyar, those guys have indeed tried their best to win against us especially Seoul who drew to us in the 1st Matchday of the season, everyone else is just too easy."

Interviewer: "Brodie, just wanna know, what is it that's stopping you from winning a trophy?"

Brodie James: "Nothing."

Interviewer: "Thought so. Now, you had word from your former teammate from Sydney City, Dissa Pointment that he's now a free agent, how did you feel about that when you heard about it."

Brodie James: "Yeah, I felt pretty sad about it, considering the fact that we've won the Academy League together, but you know what, it is what it is, we gotta keep going even during times like this. I always share a special place with Sydney City. Love you guys."

Interviewer: "Finally, as always, what would you like to say to all of the North Shore United fans that have been supporting you and your team since day 1?"

Brodie James: "Shoutout to all the fans that have supported us even in the second division, you guys keep us going, we want you to keep going, let's get it!"

Interviewer: "That's gonna do it for us on the mainstage. Commentators, take us away."
