Recapping S25 2nd - 4th Round Picks and Trades - Jumbo - 2026-04-13 So continuing on the S25 Prospect Draft. We now will be going over the 2nd through 4th round picks and trades. As there are only 17 players drafted after the 1st round. 11 in the 2nd round, 4 in the 3rd, and 2 in the 4th.  1st Round Recap S25 Round 2 S25 Round 2 Pick 13  Schwarzwälder FV is up for the 3rd selection in this draft and they decide to take their pick.  Schwarzwälder FV drafts CDM Jonny Jones. After SFV drafted a Goalkeeper and a Striker, they now go and get their Defensive position.  S25 Class TPE- 432 - 16th in class POS- CDM - 4/4 Secondary POS - CM, CD Bank- $4,471,250 - 7th in class S25 Round 2 Pick 14   ->  This pick was traded to CA Buenos Aires from Tokyo SC. And now CABA is also up for their 3rd selection in this draft.   Draft Day Trade - TOK receives S26 CABA 3rd  - CABA receives  S25 TOK 2nd (14th pick) CA Buenos Aires drafts CDM Curtis Yeager. Yeager was the last CDM (primary position) available on the board. CABA already drafted a Striker and a Central Defender. And now the got the defensive Midfielder. Might have been the last CDM taken but still a very good one to take.  S25 Class TPE - 437 - 15th in class POS - CDM - 3/4 Secondary POS - CM, CD Bank - $967,500 - S25 Round 2 Pick 15   ->   AC Romana traded this pick to move up to get 7th pick. And now Xelajú Cósmico FC gets to pick for the 2nd time.  TRADE - ACR receives S25 CAT 1st (7th pick) - XLC receives S25 USP 1st (12th pick), S25 ACR 2nd (15th pick) Xelajú Cósmico FC drafts RD Sadie St-Louis. St-Louis being only 1/2 Right Defender Im sure weighed in on this. Defense seems to be the main focus for most teams, especially after teams select a Striker, like Xelajú Cósmico FC did in the 1st.  S25 Class TPE - 412  - 20th in class POS - RD - 1/2 Secondary POS - RWB, LD Bank - $6,260,000 S25 Round 2 Pick 16   ->   ->  A pick that was traded twice. And after 15 picks in, we finally get to a team that did not draft yet. CF Catalunya gets the 1st pick in the draft.  TRADE - CABA receives Freja Ekholm-Gunnarson - TOK receives S25 CABA 2nd Draft Day Trade 2 - TOK receives S26 CAT 3rd - CAT receives S25 CABA 2nd (16th pick) CF Catalunya drafts CM Vyacheslav Shevchenko. This might have been one of the best picks in the draft. I am surprised that Shevchenko lasted this long. Among leaders in TPE and has alot of key positions covered as well. CATA great pick! S25 Class TPE - 496  - tied for 4th in class POS - CM - 1/3 Secondary POS - CAM, CDM Bank - $162,500 S25 Round 2 Pick 17    ->  CD Tenochtitlan traded this pick to AC Romana. Now AC Romana gets to make their 5th selection.  TRADE - CDT receives Stephan Lichsteiner - ACR receives S25 CDT 2nd (17th pick), S26 CDT 3rd A.C. Romana drafts LAM Chris McZehrl. McZehrl is the only primary LAM in this class. He has the attacking midfield covered. With ACR going CDM, CD, CD, GK with ther 4 picks. They had to go a little more offensively with this one.  S25 Class TPE - 465 -  12th in class POS - LAM - 1/1 Secondary POS - CAM, RAM Bank - $170,000 S25 Round 2 Pick 18  Liffeyside Celtic FC keeps their own pick and is up for their 1st pick in the draft.  Liffeyside Celtic FC drafts CD Jaime Ureña. I do think alot of these upcoming picks are roles players. Positions that needed to be filled. Players like Urena will probably be very capable players for their careers. Im basing that off banks as well.  S25 Class TPE - 374 - 24th in class POS - CD- 4/8 Secondary POS - CDM, RD Bank - $5,000,000 S25 Round 2 Pick 19  CF Catalunya keeps the pick and makes their 2nd pick this round.  CF Catalunya drafts RD Idris Emad. IF these lower TPE players just keep earning even just Activity Checks they can still hold spots and be productive. They is always hope trying to find a late create or someone who slips. Who will it be?  S25 Class TPE - 383 - 23rd in class POS - RD - 2/2 Secondary POS - RWB, LD Bank - $250,000 S25 Round 2 Pick 20  Xelajú Cósmico FC follows CF Catalunya and keeps their pick. They make their 2nd pick this round (3rd in draft) Xelajú Cósmico FC drafts CAM Dr DoofenWirtz. I do think XLC got a sneaky good pick here. Getting some good value at the CAM pick. About middle of the class in terms of TPE and actually the #1 CAM (primary position) S25 Class TPE - 429 - 17th in class POS - CAM - 1/5 Secondary POS - LAM, RAM Bank - $3,000,000 S25 Round 2 Pick 21   ->  Schwarzwälder FV trades a future 3rd for this pick from Reykjavik United. They are up for their 2nd pick this round and 4th in draft. TRADE - REY receives S26 REY 3rd - SFV receives S25 REY 2nd (21st pick) Schwarzwälder FV drafts CAM Camelot Darugius. SFV follows the previous pick with back-to-back CAM selections. Hoping Darugius becomes a solid piece in the midfield for SFV. S25 Class TPE - 345 -  30th in class POS - CAM - 3/5 Secondary POS - LAM, CM Bank - $3,306,250 S25 Round 2 Pick 22   ->   ->   ->  This is the most traded pick in the whole draft. This pick was traded 3 times.  It took me digging deeper to actually realize it was traded 2 more times as I saw CF Catalunya already had the pick after the 1st trade. Getting a player in this draft. And the best RWB primary in the draft as well.  S25 Class TPE - 348 - 29th in class POS - RWB - 1/2 Secondary POS - CD, RD Bank - $3,288,750 S25 Round 3 Pick 32   PASS S25 Round 3 Pick 33   ->    Trade - REY receives Player Rights to Tre Qartista - CAT receives S25 REY 3rd, S26 REY 3rd CF Catalunya drafts CAM Alejandro Hunt. CAT gets a solid CAM this late in the draft. Has alot of attacking positions as options as well.  S25 Class TPE - 385 - 22nd in class POS - CAM - 2/5 Secondary POS - ST, RAM Bank -  $250,000 S25 Round 3 Pick 34    PASS S25 Round 3 Pick 35   ->  PASS TRADE - SHA receives Jordan Bamford - CAT receives S25 SHA 2nd (23rd pick), S25 SHA 3rd (35th pick) S25 Round 3 Pick 36    PASS S25 Round 4 S25 Round 4 Pick 37      ->   PASS TRADE - SFV receives Hunter Jackson - ACR receives S25 SFV 4th S25 Round 4 Pick 38  TOK keeps their pick and makes their 4th and final pick in the draft.  Tokyo S.C. drafts CD Sheppard Vakarian. They get a CD. Once again. Defense is always hard to get so try to get as many as you can.   S25 Class TPE - 362 - 28th in class POS - CAM - 6/8 Secondary POS - CM, LD Bank -  $7,000,000 S25 Round 4 Pick 39  PASS S25 Round 4 Pick 40    CABA makes their 5th and the final pick in the whole draft.  CA Buenos Aires drafts LWB Anneong-Jiay Weaver. Weaver is the only LWB as primary position in the draft. Has a decent bank. A good last pick I'd say.  S25 Class TPE - LWB - 27th  in class POS - LWB - 1/1 Secondary POS - CDM, RWB Bank - $5,000,000 S25 Round 4 Pick 41  - S25 Round 4 Pick 47  PASS S25 Round 4 Pick 48   ->  PASS The finall pick in the 4th as part of package in a trade to USP for last season 2nd round pick.  TRADE - USP receives S24 CAT 2nd (17th pick), S25 HOL 2nd - CAT receives S25 USP 2nd, S25 USP 4th FINAL TEAM DRAFT RECAP There were a total of 29 players drafted. 6 players went undrafted. I believe all are inactive. And there was 1 player who already retired. A lot of teams had a good draft. Some teams had a great draft. Some teams got only what they needed. Which i guess for some teams was nothing.
