Hello everyone, the 7th game day of the second division of the minor league has ended. In it, we played against Athênai F.C. and won a strong-willed victory with a score of 2-1. Let's look at how the match went for us and me in particular in terms of statistics.
Our collective work rate was astonishing: the outfield players combined for over 128 km of distance covered, with eight players exceeding 11 km. Their average rating of 6.93 reflected a disciplined, cohesive unit. Luke Walker became the POTM with 2 goals, very good result ! We have a slight advantage in xG (1.89 vs. 1.34). We also outperformed Athênai F.C. in shots and shots on target (15 (7 on target) vs. 8 (3 on target)). Our midfield engine room was equally impressive. David Doug II covered a team‑best 13.8 km (6.77 rating), while me (13.5 km) and Alejandro Hunt (13.3 km) ensured territorial dominance. Defensively, the backline led by Valentin Morgenstern (6.92 rating ), Scott MacLeod (6.85 rating ), and Ross Bob (7.22 rating ) remained solid throughout, limiting Athénai to just three shot on target. Goalkeeper Bartholomew Twinkletoes (7.20 rating) was rarely troubled but made three sharp saves to preserve the clean sheet. As I have already mentioned, my performance was not bad. I helped the team take up space on the field, which helped us a lot in the game. Overall, we played well and deservedly scored 3 points today, and I hope we continue to do so.
