Academy Standings - Bergmau - 2026-05-06
At the time of writing this article, the halfway point of the season is over and the first match of the second part of the season has been played already.
Nonetheless, I would like to take a quick look a the standings.
We have a close race at the top with all of the top 5 teams within 3 points. On the bottom we have Sydney City and Atletico with 5 points total each and then there is Port Royal somewhere in between with 9 points total.
Viktoria Falls who are currently sitting at the top with 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses started the season with back to back losses before getting their first 3 points against Istanbul, who started their season with a draw and 3 defeats. Both teams managed to turn their season around after their initial bad start. They will be looking to continue their strong form and keep racking up points. On the other hand a team such as Stockholm who went undefeated for their first 4 games only managed to find 4 more points in the following 4 games. They will be looking to find their footing and get back to the top of the league.
At the bottom, Atletico started their season with a win, their only one in the whole season so far, while Sydney City got their only win on the second matchday against Atletico. Both teams have hit a rough patch of form afterwards and will be looking to climb out of the bottom in the remaining games.
Lets see who will be able to win the academy season, produce the best talent for the draft and who has the first overall pick in their rows.
