How I found SSL and how I enjoy it - Moew - 2026-05-17
hey, finally I do my official introduction into the SSL!
I am Moew, 29 years old and father of 2 young kids (2 years and 3 months)
As I heard, I am the second one, who found SSL through ChatGPT. I was looking for a website to simulate leagues and in a few years to try own simulation and programming such a program. Out of nowhere, ChatGPT introduced me the Community SSL, so I looked at it and immediatly joined (that was right before Season 25 started)
Since then I enjoy it daily and am really excited to leave the academy season and join the real experience with real teams. We have an astonishing great start with Stockholm, but currently we got a bit quiet, which is because our latest results, we lost too many games, so our hopes for the academy title shrunk into nothingness. Maybe we expected too much to continue to dominate this season, dont know
But even now, I still enjoy it and want to continue my journey, in the hope to win my first titles in the SSL. Maybe not immediatly in season 26, but somewhen in the career of my first played, Moew enBach
I choosed the position as a goalkeeper, because thats also my real life position, when I play football, but as a hobby. I was by time in a club, but never felt welcomed there, so my real life journey ended pretty quick, even though I wasn't that bad as a GK
nevertheless, I am now here, and even where I got a bit more inactive last days, I will continue to participate on SSL. The inactivity was because I got sick with almost 40°C fever and right after it, I hurted my right eye, so even now it still hurts a bit to type this text here. But feeling better as the last days
In the long term, I want to experience SSL in not just one single team, so not every new player I create will experience SSL in the same teams as before :)
