I know for one I’m super excited for next season to roll around. A new boatload of TPE, a full-time position on the big team, and promotion alongside it! After making a glorious run in the Cup, securing the top of the table with a game to spare, and being able to actually make a difference in games, this has been a rush of a couple weeks, and I’m excited to make it a long-term deal. The road from tag-along to star is now surely underway, and with it, a re-invigoration of my activity. It can be hard to hold onto that when there’s nowhere to go, but now there’s truly only one way to go, that being up.
I’ve successfully reached the foundation that the team laid out for me, which means now we’re entering the important stage of figuring out how we want to dominate as a team, and how I can be a central gear in that automaton. Sure, a lot of that will be strategy-driven, but the players drive viable strategies, and the strategies drive the viable players, and I’d like to be part of a symbiotic system. The numbers are surely being crunched and I’ll be ready to hound some balls down and let it rip from the edge of the box.
