Draft grades for S26 - McLumberjack - 2026-06-09 So.... This might be a bad idea, but when has that ever stopped me before. I will put a disclaimer here: ALL OF THIS IS MY OPINION, VIBES BASED OR TPE BASED. I AM WRONG MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. DONT TAKE IT TO HEART. That out of the way, I will quickly explain how I have gotten my ratings. I have tried to account for alot of factors, I will look at the overal draft haul, so if youve traded away all your picks in previous drafts, you will be getting a lower draft. However I will also take into account the value you are getting, so if you only have 2 picks late in the class but you pick two really good (in my opinion) prospects, that will raise your score. I would also like to point out I am not really taking into account how full a team is, so maybe a team only has space for 2 people, I will still judge them like they have all the space in the world. Now everything is ofcourse flawed, I have not scouted everyone in the class so some players I will just not really know and therefor misjudge but you know this is not a science, just my opinion. Lastly I have not at all looked at positional need, didnt feel like doing that, too much effort. So its mostly activity level, maybe I know the user, tpe, jobs that kinda stuff. Finally I would like to say I might sometimes randomly change what I value for no appearant reason... sorry not sorry! Okay without further ado: Hollywood FC | S+- Nick Kasak | 479 TPE | 10oa - Joshua Homme III | 470 TPE | 12oa - Dante Von Wolfe | 478 TPE | 15oa - Kaz Okada | 392 TPE | 24oa - Felix Pedro | 400 TPE | 27oa - John McDougal | 380 TPE | 39oa I think Hollywoods draft can best be described as this image: ![]() Because Hollywood absolutely hit it out of the park for this draft, I would also retroactively give an F rating to AC Romana for providing Hollywood with all these picks. First they get Nick Kasak, a super exciting new create who was high on my list too. Then they get one of the steals of the draft by getting o1 at 12oa. Dante at 15oa after and it would already be a successful draft. However they also get Kaz Okada (known from the isfl and super active there) AND Artemis who has been active in the discord too. To top it all off they get McDougal who I have a soft spot for because he was with me in Jakarta. All in all Hollywood had an annoyingly good draft and honestly the BoD should do something about it. Schwarzwälder FV - S- Barry McGlynn | 485 TPE | 1oa - Reece Munro | 478 TPE | 2oa - Christopher Bergman | 448 TPE | 13oa - Bruce McAllister | 403 TPE | 32oa - Luis Fonseca | 336 TPE | 37oa I would have given SFV an S+ rating.... HOWEVER if you have the 1st and 2nd pick in a class like this, not hitting on your picks should lead to an immediate dissolution of your org. Fortunately SFV DID hit, and boy hit they did. Getting Definia would already be a great draft, getting definia AND his high earning brother Reece Munro is an amazing draft to then also add the 3rd brother like you are Thanos collecting infinity stones is honestly incredible. Best thing is, besides the trio of brothers they get Bergman, who I think is a great pick. Finally they potentially have one of the steals of the draft. Luis Fonseca seems to have disapeared a bit but has already done a commentary. If he comes back that will be crazy value at 37oa. It is looking like a golden generation for SFV! União São Paulo - A+- Ignignokt | 458 TPE | 4oa - Owen Goal | 462 TPE | 14oa - Saba Kvekvetsia | 384 TPE | 35oa Completely unbiased ofcourse... However hear me out! I think for a team that ended 2nd in Majors division 1. Ending with 4oa and 14oa in a class like this is certainly some good business (thank you Tokyo and CABA). I think if we got Austin and only Austin this draft I still would have rated the draft an A. When he joined I was not 100% sure how comitted he would be to the SSL, being an ISFL main type guy. However it does seem he has fully caught the SSL bug and I think this might be our Luka Doncic, our Victor Wenbayama (not sure why I am using basketbal players but roll with it). Then we also get Anjro, very known in the ISFL and honestly the only reason he has not gone round 1 is because he is a little weirdo that did not join the main discord. This does mean we get a first round talent with our 2nd round pick. Finally add Saba, once again one of my boys from Jakarta and I think USP certainly deserves an A+ Shanghai Dragons FC - A+- S. Sei | 481 TPE | 5oa - Joe Mormor | 487 TPE | 7oa - Cory Stevens | 352 TPE | 17oa - Tim Quackereedoo | 335 | 25oa - Josh Harper | 427 TPE | 29oa - Owen Bryant | 369 TPE | 41oa Honestly without bias I might put this slightly above USP, however I am not too familiar with some of the later picks that Shanghai made so I guess only time will tell. What I do know is that Shanghai did great this draft, being able to get two picks in the first round in a stacked draft like this (especially 5oa and 7oa) is a luxury, one they had to trade for in all fairness (CDT you get an F for that trade too). Xyan is a known force in the ISFL and has been one of the more active users this class. Mormor has been earning great and honestly had one of my best scouting convo's with them. Toast is also a known simleague veteran, certainly a stable pick. Now Quackareedoo and Owen Bryant I know less about so I cannot give a real judgement there, however I know JCPro was also on our list before shanghai snooped them away. Shanghai continues to build on their success with this draft. CF Catalunya - A- Dennis Van Huntelrooy | 487 TPE | 16oa - Star Scream | 471 TPE | 22oa - Jason Bryzski | 394 TPE | 36oa Now this one might be a bit controversial, or maybe not. However I think this might be the most efficient draft. Catalunya came into this draft with a pretty abysmal two 2nd round picks and a 3rd. However to come out of it with Huntelrooy, the top earner of the class who does great media AND Star Scream, who I still do not understand fell to 22oa. I can do nothing but applaude honestly. As tradition, they end with a Jakarta player, Jason Bryzski (also a certified AS Paris legend) finishes the draft class and I think Catalunya can be very happy with what they got. A.C. Romana - A-- Jimothy Erickson | 479 TPE | 3oa - Maujiro Rivers | 393 TPE | 31oa AC Romana go quality over quantity.... and I kinda like it. Eventhough I do not like that they gave all their picks to Hollywood... they did have a big class last season and to then still get Ginger (who instantly became AM too). I think Romana can be very happy. I think I might have given a slightly lower grade because of the only 2 picks.... If I didnt love the Maujiro pick! Not only do I think Maurijo is a great active user to have I think he perfectly fits the Romana vibe too. Excellent choice and I am excited to see what Romana will do now they are finally free from Malino (jk love you malino) Tokyo S.C. - B+- Scorp E. Unshark | 469 TPE | 23oa - Leonardo Stone | 450 TPE | 26oa - Eric Duic | 364 TPE | 28oa - Baptiste Azzola | 422 TPE | 34oa - Umaq Yupanqui | 441 TPE | 38oa Now Tokyo went into the draft with perhaps the worst draft capital, they did not have the least picks but they did have not a single 1st round pick and also their only 2nd round pick they had was for their AM. So their first "real" pick was in the third round. However with the picks they did have I think they have smashed it out of the park. While they did not have a single "Superstar" signing, I think several of their picks have the potential to turn into that. First of all great to have hhh back ofcourse. Then Frostbite at 26 is great value, Eric Duic probably would/should have gone a lot higher if he did not keep forgetting his AC/PT pass, so I believe that with some gentle encouragement he will be earning well in no time. Liscore was on our list too as we had a good talk with him and finally Yupanqui has been quietly earning and could be a great Goalkeeper pickup. All in all I think Tokyo made just about the best goddamn lemonade possible with the lemons they were given. Xelajú Cósmico FC - B- Saphira Brightscales | 451 TPE | 6oa - Isaiah Ali | 407 TPE | 18oa - Sadie Black | 389 TPE | 30oa - Nacho Kusora | 344 TPE | 42oa - Le Chonk | 364 | 44oa Now this is once again one I might be veeeeery wrong about, as I am not super familiar with most of these. I think Pidgeydestined is an absolute homerun straight out of the park. Super user in the ISFL and will be a great addition to the team. Like I said after that it gets a bit fuzzy for me which is why I got Xelaju on the lower end. Reykjavik United - B- Kairo Vox | 484 TPE | 9oa - Alex Pena | 451 TPE | 21oa - Marin Krpan | 410 | 33oa And the award of the least surprising draft pick goes to...... Hoodz to reyk! All jokes aside I think Hoodz is a great pickup for Reyk, however I think where Reykjavik is at they might have been better off doing more of the Tokyo approach and getting a big wave of young players in. Although both Pena and Krpan are solid picks, the draft still feels a little top heavy just like Xelaju which is why I have them in the same tier. Liffeyside Celtic FC - B- Jack Pow | 474 TPE | 8oa - Slabko Plackovic | 374 TPE | 20oa The third B rating in a row. I think Jack Pow is going to turn out to be an amazing pickup and while I did not interact much myself with sc1zzo I know some other managers really rated him. So I think Liffey had a pretty efficient draft themselves too. CD Tenochtitlan - C+- Blaise N'Kufo | 431 TPE | 19oa I am not salty..... YOU ARE. Okay there might be some emotions coming into this one. HOWEVER, having only 1 pick in a class like this is criminal. I do not care if you are full, stash the players in your couch cushions, lie about the salary, send them out on loan. I dont care what you do but you cannot have only 1 2nd round pick in a class like this. Especially sending all your picks to a direct (well guess not direct this season..) competitor in Shanghai. BUT..... the one pick they did have they did hit with. Blaise is my irl friend and a great user, if you remember to remind him to do his PT he will be a great earner too oh and I really like reading his book reviews you should read those too. CA Buenos Aires - D- Meow enBach | 452 TPE | 11oa - Mullet Man | 447 TPE | 40oa - Gold Ship | 379 TPE | 46oa Okay now uhh, so I am not the biggest fan of the strategy CABA took this draft. There seems to be a bit of a "Win Now" idea. They have traded for some high tpe but regressing and Inactive players in favor of picks in this draft. They traded from 4oa to 11oa in exchange for Jreed with us. and they traded back from their 16oa spot too. I do think Moew is a good pickup, he has been earning well and was one of the more active users in the discord (also helping with the discovery of the home and away). However one must ask if they are the right fit for each other? Then after their 11oa pick they did not pick until the 4th round! skipping the entire 2nd and 3rd round which had tons of value. They did get the person with the best render in Mullet Man so atleast there is that. Also they picked Liath with the very last pick of the draft. Liath has not seemingly been really gripped by the league, however knowing her from the ISFL if she does get hooked she is a known great earner, so there might be a diamond in the rough there. There it was! Please do not take it too seriously and if you think I have graded anything unfairly please use this as motivation to become the best player and then eventually rub it in my face <3 RE: Draft grades for S26 - CamGoldenGun - 2026-06-09 "CA Buenos Aires - D" I refer you to your first image. But you are correct, we're making the push to Div 1 this year! RE: Draft grades for S26 - AustinP0027 - 2026-06-09 I don't feel like you gave enough draft credit for the importance of Mullet Man's mullet. That thing brings a level of attention all on it's own that can only help CABA's social media presence explode, meaning more ticket sales and more money into the club. |
