Interviewer: Hi, coming of your bye week, you had to stomach a hefty 1:3 defeat to Krung Thep, partially helped by a red card early in the second half. How do you feel about that game?
Bergmann: It sucks to loose. They might have been slight favorites but we would have loved to pull off an upset here. The red card didn't do us any favors, especially so close to us conceding our first. We couldn't adjust fast enough and Krung Thep took advantage, scoring their second of the match shortly afterwards. Those 15 minutes early in the second half completly broke our game plan. We went from a goalless draw at halftime with the game being wide open, to being down two with 10 man on the pitch within a couple minutes. Recovering from that was unfortunatly to tall of an ask for us. Hate to admit it, but it is what it is. We need to do better in the next games.
Interviewer: Taking a look at the table, you are sitting right in the middle. Four points of the first and three points of relegation playoffs. With the season being around the halfway point, where do you see yourself at the end of the season?
Bergmann: With that much football still left to play, everything is possible. Paris looks beatable, the table is incredibly close. We are aware, that there are no free points in this divison and the bottom is as close as the top of the league. I believe we already showed we can hang with the heavy weights of Minor League football. Nonetheless we will give it everything we have for the second half of the season and hope we can continue to challenge our opponents, and who knows, maybe we can challenge for the top at the end of the season.
Interviewer: Best of luck, see you soon and thank you.
Bergmann: Thank you.
