With the S28 Prospect Draft finally here, A.C. Romana strengthened their organization with two draft picks. This was one of the small draft classes that we've seen recently, so for Romana to pick up two young players to add to their growing Inter London team is a big advantage.
With the 10th overall pick, A.C. Romana selected CM Byakko. The Zimbabwe international will likely replace Joao Mendes, who will be called up to the first team, making it a much-needed selection. She can also play on the right side of the field, which will allow some flexibility to the strong front line for London. Her strongest attributes are her decision-making, passing and dribbling, making her a calm presence in the midfield. As one of the strongest earners in her class, Byakko will be eased into a very competitive side that will likely challenge for promotion. Being with such an experienced squad will help her learn and develop.
With the 13th overall pick, A.C. Romana selected LB Sheldon Enow. The Cameroonian can play all along the left side of the field, which will likely make him an instant starter as London currently doesn't have a proper left back on the team. Although he is further down the list in terms of TPE, his career is still very young, which will give him a chance to have a very good career if he continues down the right path. Enow can be compared to Nuno Mendes, his physical traits are outstanding for his age. The rest of his abilities will need to be developed in the minor league division, but he will be given every chance to make an impression.
With so few prospects taken in the draft, Byakko and Enow will be coveted prospects for the Romana organization. If they can fulfill their potential, they could give the team an advantage where some organizations have empty prospect pools. We are looking forward to following their careers and to see them make an instant impact on the pitch!
