It has been a difficult season for North Shore United, at least as far as the scoreboard is concerned. Inside the building, we all know the truth. We are building a culture and everyone is on board. This was a particularly strong message that resonated after the final match day from last season. We did loose that last game, but Thunder in particular was quite excellent with two assists. After a grueling season on the pitch it was quite motivating to have a game like that. As we start looking to next season, it will be the first time for NSU in the second division in some time. It should be a highly competitive season, and we will have the opportunity to play against the new expansion teams. We are definitely hopeful that we can get promoted after the season. The NSU roster has 8 of our 11 players from the last two drafts. Most everyone is training hard and improving fast, so there is no reason we shouldn't back back to division 1 form in no time. As for Thomas Thunder, he has been prioritizing physical fitness in his training sessions last year, and especially this off season. It has been well established that your physical ability on the pitch is what matters first and foremost. He has always been fast, but now he feels to be the fastest he has ever been in his life. Thunder has also started hitting the weights so he can bulk up a bit for the next season. He can add some more physicality to the game through strength and toughness. It is going to be a fun season.
