Theme Week- Expansion Location Ideas

Looking at where we currently have teams located, I can think of three spots that would make sense to add an SSL expansion team to. The first is Italy. With us having a team in England, France, and Spain, it would make sense to place a team in Italy as well. I think the most expected city would be either Milan or Rome, but I would lean towards putting a team in Venice or Palermo. For Venice, a cool team with a lot of purple in the logo and jersey would look sharp, whereas Palermo, drawing on Sicilian influence, you could be a bit more traditional Italian and go with green and white as your main colors. The second location would be Germany. As I said before, we have coverage in 3 of the major real world leagues, and adding a German team would give us a good fourth. The most logical spot for a team would be Berlin or Munich, but I think it would be more fun to think outside of the box. I think going with a team in north Germany like in Kiel or Rostock would be interesting since they have different vibes than the rest of Germany. I think even more fun though would be Hockenheim or Nurburg. You could draw on the auto racing influence in regards to the logo. For the colors, keep it simple. Red, black, and yellow. No team currently uses those colors so it would look sharp. The final spot would be India. Being able to put another team in Asia I think would be cool for the league and India would be a prime destination. I think the best spot would be Mumbai since its on the coast, and color wise you could go with green and orange (Kind of like Accra I know) to celebrate India.
