[Theme Week] Jeeve's Heartthrob Holiday Backstory Theme Week
#1
As Jeeves sits down at his kitchen table for for the first day of break from the futbol league. Life hasn't been the same since the accident. He stares into his meal with eyes full of depression. The still bowl of gruel that is suppose to help him stay in tip top shape over the holiday. Jeeve's method of coping with his dad's death has been to embrace himself fully into his athletic. It's gotten him to the top of his craft. It's gotten him to Cairo, fame, fortune, and insane physique, but the holidays are particularly difficult for him. Dad lived for the Holidays. He loved Christmas so much the neighborhood always joked was that Mr. Jeeves crapped out Christmas Lights and mistletoe. If you had a question about Christmas or Holidays, Mr. Jeeves was a living, breathing encyclopedia. It was that much of a special interest, but it's the reason why Ask Jeeves resented Christmas. Everything after thanksgiving reminded him of the stark reality of grief and numbness that has become his heart. As Jeeve's sucked down the last of the slop in front of him. He defaults to his norm and heads to the gym. He's found the only gym in Seattle that matches his absence of the Christmas spirit. He starts off with cardio on the bikes as a warm up, Ask is known for a pace that can hardly be compared to and acceleration to match and knows it's something that is core to his game and is always looking to protect and improve it. Ask knows that his game is limited. For a wingback his play style lacks creativity and inspiration, something that left with his father. Ask is aware that his play style is extremely predictable. Ask has been working with his coaches to improve that feeling of deception and awareness on the field but every time Ask is on the field. He is filled with rage and the only thing that seems to quench that rage is beating down an opposing offender trying to score or driving down the field and channeling every ounce of energy into his crosses. He rarely cares about the results of the games or finds joy in much else than those two things.
