Mr. Laurent Gourcuff have recently left FC Lorient and is looking to train on his own to prepare for the SSLs sophmore season. The young french attacking midfielder who left the Ligue 1 teams youth setup earlier this year to take on a new challenge that will take him all over the world playing football is said to looking for some training partners.
The first one to join his ranks preparing for the new season are none other than former Greece youth international left back Ioannis Papastathopoulos @Fluw. A very fast player who can play anywhere up the left flank and looks to find himself by the opponents goal line to put some crosses in. A deceivingly good finisher.
Following up on an old friend in Ioannis, some other players who joined up ahead of the next SSL season are some other league prospects.
Dorian Lexington @Toast is a Canadian defender who is 1,80m tall and is a very multi-talented player. Mainly operating at the heart of the defence to control the game.
Sky Ryze @Nhamlet is an absolute giant targetman striker. He will win any aerial duel in the box and is the definition of a true menace to face off against. Not the fastest or quickest, but lump the ball forward and he'll deal with it appropriately.
Alexandra Gunnarsson @RenoJacksonHS is an Icelandic goalkeeper venturing for new adventures. A very lanky but not big goalkeeper, she is a great shot stopper who can also distribute the ball neatly.
And the final player to join up for some off-season preparation and training is none other than the Russian defensive midfielder Xabi Akinfenwa @UberBJ. Xabi can be described as an accomplished midfielder in the central parts of the pitch. Great in the tecnhical parts of the game, he will dictate tempo and ping the balls onto the right players.
