Spike Shaftwell comes from a meager upbringing, out in the woods of British Columbia, and only recently found the game of soccer. You can totally understand that it will take some time for Spike to settle in and feel comfortable in his new surroundings. This will explain his lackluster play of recently and promises that there is definitely more to come from the bespectacled beast. As Spike becomes more and more comfortable in his surroundings his play is bound to improve. Spike is enjoying the company of his teammates, hanging out with CD's Beakie Eilish, and Jean Girard and keeper Duncan Walrusson. Add to the group LWB Ilya Prushkin and you can see the makings of an amazing group of prospects that are bound to make an immediate impact on whatever team ends up drafting each one of them.
