Our South African Sports Network correspondant Melson Nandela interviewed FC Kaapstad draftee Louis Ashworth shortly after the the recent draft.
Nandela: Welcome to Cape Town, Louis! How are you finding it so far?
Ashworth: Amazing. Good weather, good people. Beautiful women too. Not too different from Sydney.
Nandela: Glad to hear that. And your thoughts on FC Kaapstad, your new team?
Ashworth: I love it. I've had some really good talks with the gaffer and I'm getting on well with my teammates. And I can wholeheartedly say that Hollywood/Kaapstad is the biggest club in the SSL, so what's not to love?
Nandela: Of course. How do you feel about being Hollywood's first pick, and fifth overall?
Ashworth: It was great to hear and I think I deserve it. I worked really hard throughout the academy season, so I'm glad that it amounted to being drafted early to such a great team.
Nandela: Amazing. Are you aware of what position you'll be playing this season?
Ashworth: Yeah, it's looking like I'll be Kaapstad's striker. It's a change, but I'm up for the challenge and I know I can do it. You're about to see the best of me.
Nandela: Interesting! Do you have any title hopes for Kaapstad this season?
Ashworth: Definitely. We finished second last season and with the additions of Dohbra, Kupinas, and myself, I know we can challenge for the title.
