Reporter: What did you do during the off season to get ready for the upcoming season?
Carolien: I trained with my sister a lot going to England for part of the off season to work on my ability to play as a striker given that's where I played a majority of my games at last season when I was moved up to the majors. I also worked on my strength wanting to generally get stronger so I don't get pushed around as much by stronger defenders. I spent some time working on my ability to jump and head the ball, along with a lot of cardio.
Reporter: What do you think of Catalunya's offseason and the deals the club made.
Carolien: I think the draft went well for the team being able fill the positional needs as a organization, I think we'll have to use subs more which can be hit or miss we'll have to see how that pans out. As for the trades we did we did trades to bring in a younger core which could potentially backfire in the future we'll have to wait and see.
Reporter: Why is Hugh Mann your favorite player, and don't try to deny it we have you saying so on tape.
Carolien: I would never say such a thing, I believe Hugh Mann is the most useless person in the organization that doesn't show up to practices or games. I would not even put him as my top twenty-three favorite players in the organization currently. And with how stupid that question is I won't be answering any further questions.
