After the dust has settled from this exciting offseason, it looks like the Uniao Sao Paolo Capybara's have a new goal keeper heading into S20. Our dear friend and absolute stud, Calvin Ball, got poached first (FIRST!) overall in the expansion draft. While that is hardly a surprise since Ball is an amazing user and player, new GK Benecio Aguilera III was able to learn as much as he could from the former Capybara goalie.
This offseason saw lots of one-on-one training, as well as shoring up some of the physical attributes that goalies tend to need. Aguilera is looking to build upon his wonderful minor's season in Paris, where he was one of the top GK's in the minors last season. Some would argue the best, and I wouldn't disagree one bit. USP isn't going to miss a beat with all the talent oozing out of that locker room. While we thought we over-performed a bit last season, there's no doubt that we belong in contention with the heavy hitters in this league.
With that said, I hope the rest of the league is on notice. YOU AIN'T SCORING A SINGLE GOAL AGAINST USP THIS SEASON!
