GRADED: ACADEMY TASK #5 - Victoria Falls Eagles Squad Deep Dive
#1
Let's take a look at this wild team called the Victoria Falls Eagles. Why wild, you ask? Well, if you've seen our games and tactical formations, you would know what I mean...

First we start at Goalkeeper, player Chicken McTendie has been battle tested this start of the season, a defense without any fullbacks or central defenders? Yeah, sure, I mean, it's the Victoria Falls Eagles! McTendie has been great with all that he has been working with, I know this user from other leagues, I know how good a user he is, I just hope he is not going crazy with these wild formations. Even when we lose 4-2 like last game, he still gets a 7.2 rating... Yeah, if it wasnt for him, it would be a lot worse. Although... Newsflash... Now we have one Central Defender! And we lost our first game... So there's that. Average Rating so far: 6.85.

Our new addition, Central Defender Renzo Milano. That we will need more stats to fairly evaluate.

Then we jump to our lone wingback, brazilian Leonard Zimmeman, solid player, already has 2 assists to his name, boasts a 85% pass% which is very good. Average Rating so far 6.75.

For our Central Defensive Midfielders, we start with Mazeed Al-Kazmi, a great locker room pal, with 9 tackles won so far, including 2 key tackles. Known as a very tough defensive player, already has drawn the hate of the refs, who've given him a league-leading 3 yellow cards on 5 fouls, in only four games! Average Rating so far: 6.75.

Then we also have David Dough II at Center Defensive Midfielder, with 11 tackles won, and 9 clearances. Average rating so far: 7.00.

Next at Central Midfielder we have Austin Corrigan, from a great user, anchoring our midfield, with 7 key passes so far. Average Rating 7.07.

At Right Winger we have Allie Bunson, the little rabbit that could! A great locker room mate, one of the stars of this squad, with 2 assists, 7 key passes, a team-leading 6 successful crosses, 16 successful headers, 9 tackles won to help the team recover the ball back. An unfair 6.75 average rating so far.

At Left Winger we have probably the most hard working and on-form player on the team: Tommy Moff. Tommy has 1 goal and 1 assist, a league-leading 12 key passes, a league leading 6 chances creating, 20 successful headers, a league leading 14 tackles won, a league leading 18 interceptions, 8 clearances. This totals an average rating of 7.28. He probably deserves much better.

At Attacking Midfielders, we start with James Valderrama. James has 2 goals and 2 assists to his name in only 4 games, an 87% pass%, 7 key passes, 5 chances created, to make up an average rating of 7.08 so far.

The other Attacking Midfielder, is myself, Roy Rivers. I have a player of the match to my name, a team-leading 6 goals and 1 assist on only 4 games, and 82% pass%, 6 dribbles, 10 tackles won. All this amounts to a team-leading 8.12 average rating, but let's be honest, if it wasn't for that 4 goal game, Roy is very streaky, and easily marks 6.4 avg rating on any game until he scores.

Finally we have our star striker, Zaza Banana, with 3 goals and 1 assist in only 4 games, a 90% pass%, 6 key passes, 6 dribbles, amounting to a 7.45 average rating.

All in all, this team works a lot, and we just need a bit more luck to be able to hit on all cylinders.
