GRADED: growing pains
#1
After a tremendous season saw them lift the SSL minor league championship trophy last season, the Montreal United have had some tough luck this time around. Numerous games, where statistics like shots on goal, xG, ball possession etc. would favor them, did not go their way at all. While there are not too far behind the leading bunch, they already have some ground to make up if their hopes of repeating the minor league championship should not die too early on in the season.

The same can be said for Cameron Millwall's sophomore season. The defensive midfielder, hailing from Germany, is having a very inconsistent season, following up good games with subpar outings. His average rating has increased marginally to just above 7, which is a good sign for what it's worth. Despite the hours during which he honed his skills over the course of the summer months, he has not been able to translate this into a worthwhile statistical output. The only leaderboard of the SSL's minor league that he appears in is the one for yellow cards. He is tied for third in that category, with three yellow cards in five games. Behind the scnes Millwall had hoped to be able to garner more assists.
