GRADED: A Day in the Life: Sandro da Silva part 3
#1
Looks like it's Stockholm again tonight...

Sandro winced in pain as he remembered the last run in with Stockholm. They're a team who has done everything they can to slow him down and make his life miserable. Sandro's game is fast, flowing, and beautiful. He likes to burst forward in attack and leave defenders in his dust, but that's not really possible against Stockholm.

Stockholm loads up the left side of the field which results in zero space for Sandro to attack. The ball flows through his teammates Okoro and Roberts on the left side of the pitch in attack. On defense, Sandro gets saddled with his normal duties of helping Mizukana cover three postions in the backline between the two of them, but against Stockholm specifically, he gets saddled with marking a literal giant as well. Sandro is living his personal hell every time he takes the field against Stockholm and it shows.

His two worst performances of the season have been his two matches against Stockholm. Against Victoria Falls and Atletico, sure his team might lose, but he plays his game and enjoys himself regardless of outcome. Tonight against Stockholm, he will hate every second of it. Defending, defending, defending. No space to swing in crosses or push high up the line with the giant winger and Jenkins creeping up the line behind him the entire game.

Sure enough, Sandro's dread proved to be right. The game started and Stockholm entered their predictable and strange formation overwhelming his side of the pitch. All night Sandro faced runs in behind him from two players at once with no second center back to help him out. All night, Sandro watched his teammates play crosses and through balls while he sat back, tightly man marked by a literal giant.

Sydney City got the win, and Sandro and his teammates celebrated a hard fought three points, but in his mind all Sandro really felt was relief. Relief that he wouldn't have to see Stockholm again next match day.
