It is my belief, and I know that this sounds crazy, that I am being followed by agents of some ancient occult society that is only partially represented by the Åthenai football club. Trust me, I don't want to draw this conclusion either, but based on all of the evidence that I have been able to gather it is the only possible, rational, result.
Though calling anything rational at this particular moment feels foolish.
I had woken up sitting on the couch in my apartment after a rather harrowing encounter at the training facility. And then...nothing. No further appearance from the dark and terrifying owl creature, no stern talking to from security staff or black suited goons that threatened me with glow sticks.
Instead, I came under the impression I was being followed by people who would much rather I not notice them. Everywhere I was, I felt that I was being observed. That off putting feeling of having someone's eyes on you, studying every minute motion and trying to guess at the thought process behind every action.
I kept seeing the same people at the grocery store, the post office, hell even at the matches. Perhaps that's why my play is starting to suffer, but I don't think so.
This needs to be investigated further, of that I have no doubt.
