One Step Closer

União São Paulo has amazed fans this weekend in their most recent match with Tokyo S.C. As soon as the match started, São Paulo was immediate with applying the pressure on the defense. At only the 5th minute, Julian Rubio broke through the line thanks to incredible passing and scored the first goal of the game. São Paulo performed the best in the first half, outnumbering the other team’s shots on goal. In an unfortunate (or fortunate) turn of events, Tokyo S.C.’s goalkeeper, Fernand Rivest, accidentally caught the ball inside the goal trying to block a shot. At the 40th minute, Chef Gagne managed to slip past and scored an incredible goal to close out the first half. However, Zlatan Ibruhimovic managed to find a gap and scored a 44th minute goal for Tokyo. As the game progressed, yellow cards were distributed to Roquefort Cotswold and João Peixoto in the 30th and 66th minute respectively. The second half consisted of many valiant attacks from both sides but neither seemingly able to crack the other. The game ended with a score of 3-1, earning União São Paulo another win. As the season draws to a close and the championship in full swing, there is no doubt this team will deliver.
