@roquefort apologies, but I missed rulebook section F. rule 4.b "A contract extension of an Inactive player can only be signed during the off-season of the current contract." This was my first IA extension that breached the rule, I was unaware of the distinction which is my bad, but I have had to revert this extension. You can proceed to re-file it again once the season has ended when IA extensions are allowed.
