Training 4 Talent
#1
Kaspars Kalinins has a lot of work to do, but with the help of his trainers and coaches, there is a plan to be had. First of all, he really needs to finish rounding out his physical frame. Being first on the ball, applying pressure quickly, and being able to manoeuvre the pitch effectively are more important then any technical skill. The best players in the world are able to leverage their bodily abilities to compliment their technical prowess, and those without the bodily ability are left behind. From there, he’ll need to round out his fundamental abilities, the buttons that he can press in game to perform his most common actions. His dribbling, passing, and tackling will be his main features, and the team is working with him to make sure those are what his opponents see first, foremost, and most potently. There is something to be said about covering your weaknesses, and just eating away at the clock, but it’s hard to win a match without showing a flash of any particular talent. While Kaspars’ talents aren’t going to feature much on the highlight reels, or the Plays of the Year, his talent is making sure his team isn’t the one that features on the other side of those highlight reels.

Decent self-reflection, having that sense of progression is ideal.
