New position
#1
Before Bob Berendsen could properly take in they had won the first match of the season, against their fierce rivals Kaapstad nonetheless, the second match day already fast approached.

This would be the first time of the season Paris would be at their full strength. All their players in the right position, the formation their familiar 5 at the back that also gets used by their Majors team USP.

Bob felt ready, the extra work on the training ground has paid off and he finally feels comfortable in his new role at right wing back.

Paris is playing against CS Rova Mpanjaka who came off a nice win against montreal. Bob knew that even if we were the favourite, no match was going to be easy this season.

In the CS Rova side Bob recognized some familiar faces, Jay Cue Jr. played with him on Adowa Accra, it felt weird seeing him on the other side of the pitch when just a couple weeks ago we were battling together.

Matt Turk and Kaspars Kalinins were also familiar faces that Bob had to play against in the academy.

But enough time spent on reminiscing, the only thing that matters for Bob today is this match here and now.

The match started well for Paris as Jakob Fensterhausen scores the 1-0 for Paris.

Not long after Bob gets the ball outside the area, dribbles in but loses the ball. However the CS Rova defender passed the ball to Belmont who scores the 2-0!

Right before half time CS Rova gets a penalty which they score, reducing Paris's lead to only 1.

The second half was uneventful until in the 81st minute, who else but Belmont scores his second and 2 minutes later he gets his third.

That's how the match ended, Bob is decently pleased with his performance, there are clearly some growing pains in his new position and he was unable to put a real stamp on the match but ending with a 7.2 rating and a win is a good day.
