Tight defence allow Madques to climb the table
#1
Another match, another clean sheet and another 3 points for Masques Sacrés. With 3 wins from 4 games, this team is on route to potentially have a very special season.

Warrick and Walker scored both Masques' goals to put Montréal to bed with no supper, in what was a comfortable evening for them. Their defence has been the real highlight of the team in the past few games with 2 clean sheets allowing the team to be slightly more attacking. The full-backs have also had a real impact in the final third of the pitch, Warrick already has 5 assists (most in the league), 1 goal and 1 MOTM in 4 games, with McNeil (a rookie from the draft) starting strong with solid 1 goal, 2 assists and 1 MOTM to his name. Everything good that comes from Masques Sacrés stems from their full-backs. Munro and Walker have 5 goals between them (half the total for the team, 3 & 2 respectfully) and will hope to continue to lead the line into the future.

Their next match with be against AS Paris which will really test this team and show either how far they come or how far they need to go based on the current form and history of their opponents.

We asked Walker what he expected from AS Paris, "Paris is a stupid good team, they are going to really test us and we will have to be at our absolute best to get a good result. But I like to think we'll be able to hurt them and they won't have everything their way. We know who their danger-men are, if we stop one, it isn't enough. We have to work hard as a team, only that way can we hopefully go and grab 3 points".
