Thoughts so far

With the first 5 matchdays having passed I thought it would be a good point to take stock into the state of the Major league at this point.
Sao Paulo, my parent club has not had the best of starts to put it lightly. 

A draw and two losses in the first 5 games is frankly not good enough for this organisation. Especially when considering they only had 1 loss and 3 draws in the entire previous season.

Now you could argue we have been unlucky, red cards, injuries and games where we out xG our opponents, but the fact of the matter is we have not been good enough this season to be worthy title contenders.

Next match will be massive, a game against Reykjavik, a loss here would almost certainly spell the end to our chances of winning the title.
However even a win here would still leave us relying on other teams to mess up.

Maybe this is just what Sao Paulo needed, we are used to being the underdogs, we are a team of extremes, spanning the record books from the worst performing team to the best performing one.

Perhaps this is just what we needed to relight that spark and win out.
