Reasons to draft Austin Morley
#1
Hello everyone. I want to start a little series for my SSL PTs that will go into detail about why prospective teams should draft me. Sure, its not a novel idea, but it's what I have to work with. In my first post I already went over kind of who I am and shared my history as a sim user in the ISFL and SHL. I would consider that post to be my "reason zero" - I am going to earn TPE at a high level.

So my "reason one" to why any prospective Managers should draft my player is that I (the user) am due for a "win". Now, what do I mean when I say this? Well, I went through all of the seasons in which I have been participating in sim sports - which for this writing I will only be including the "major" teams (IE not DSFL or SMJHL). In the ISFL I have had an active player for 18 seasons. 10 for ISFL HoF player Austin Morley, 6 for failure of a QB Russell Jimmies, and 2 for my current player Wyntir Creakis. In the SHL, Austin Morley has spent his entire 13 season career with the Manhattan Rage (in which this is likely his swan song). My record in the ISFL as a user, to include playoffs is 130 wins to 164 losses for a win% of 44.2. (This is 128-160 regular season and 2-4 playoff records, or 294 total games played). In the SHL, it isn't much different. I boast a regular season 379-446-41 W/L/T with a 15-19 playoff record (for an overall record of 394-465-41). Over 900 games in the SHL my player has a win% of 43.77.

Considering every major sim sport game a player of mine has participated in, I have 524 wins, 629 losses, and 41 ties (1194 games) - for a User Career win% of 43.88. Now I am not analytics expert, but I do know one thing: Teams either win or lose, that's a 50/50 chance. So from my perspective, any SSL team that drafts me is looking at an automatic 6.12% winning swing toward the median right off the bat, and that in of itself should be reason enough to draft Austin Morley.
