Mixed feelings

Its matchday 7 and AS Paris is facing off against Cairo City.

This is a match that brings on some conflicted emotions for Bob Berendsen. He is facing off against one of his best friends in Connor Reed.
They met during the academy season and kept in close contact ever since. A healthy amount of camaraderie and rivalry between peers.

However the rumor mill has started spinning, there is talk that Connor Reed might be getting an early call up to the Major league by Tokyo.
This is because the current striker of Tokyo is getting up there in age and is not the striker he used to be.

This could very much be the last (and first for that matter) time Bob and Connor can face off in a long while.


Bob decided then to make the most of the situation and AS Paris seemed to agree as they completely outplayed Cairo in this match. 
Belmont got another 2 goals (ofcourse he did) Sowerwine got 2, Ron Wince got one and David Luiz JR, who only played 45 minutes took a beautiful free kick to make it 6.

Bob Berendsen did not stay off the scoreboard either as he was able to get another assist to add to his seasons tally.

A great game for Bob but a possibly emotional farewell too.
