Stockolm IK Week Recap
#1
Hi, it's Stefano and i'm here for the week recap of this week Stockolm IK game's.
This two games showed a fluctuating trend, with a prestigious victory followed by a defeat that halted the momentum of the previous success. In the first match, against Atletico, we won 2–1 at the end of a hard-fought and tactically intense game. Despite having less possession (42% compared to Atletico’s 58%), Stockolm IK made the most of their counterattacks, creating the two decisive actions thanks to assists from Jang and Kirkland. Xuxu Jang was the MVP of the match, not only for his assist but also for his constant ability to break the opponent’s rhythm and lead the offensive transitions.

The second game, however, against Victoria Falls, was very different and ended in a 2–0 defeat. In this match, we struggled more with the opponent’s pace, conceding possession (53% to 47%) and finding it difficult to create chances as the stast would suggest, we need to improve on that expecially in the away games. Victoria Falls managed the game with maturity, closing down spaces with a very good defence.

These two matches send a clear message to Stockolm IK: the team has good qualities but needs much more consistency and solidity to maintain a competitive level. The latest two, they showed a fluctuating trend, with a prestigious victory followed by a defeat that halted the momentum generated by the previous success.

The next two games are against Sydney City(Home) and away against PS Jakarta, two games that are crucial for maintaining the third position at least and hoping that the two above us lose some points.
