Nerve de Groot and the rest of Uniao Sao Paulo have certainly shown everyone that they can always expect a spectacular performance on the field. Matches all around the world gather thousands of spectators to view history in the making. Match 11 sees Uniao Sao Paulo face off against Tokyo S.C. The first half saw four USP goals and one Tokyo. Slab Head got USP on the board in the 13th minute of the match. Tokyo responded in kind with Jude Greer scoring seven minutes later. In a jaw dropping sequence of events, Ashito Aoi scored not only in the 21st minute, but again two minutes later. Julian Rubio scored the 4th goal in the 38th to end the half 4-1. The second half saw both sides bouncing off of each other’s defenses. Ryan Kirkpatrick managed to break the stalemate scoring in the 61st minute. The match ended 5-1 with Uniao Sao Paulo taking three more valuable points on the leaderboard. USP outshot Tokyo with 20 shots to 7 respectfully. The win pushed Uniao Sao Paulo up to second place, 4 points behind Hollywood FC. The fight for the Majors trophy rages on with Uniao Sao Paulo once again close to the top.
