Halfway point

We are now halfway through the season and Liffeyside has now won 3 games. This may not seem like a huge deal but to a team who only won 1 game and had a total of 6 points all of last season to be sitting with 11 points at the halfway mark is a huge accomplishment.
We were able to best Xelajú Cósmico FC in our last match 2 - 1 which is by itself sign of our growth as they were created at the same time as us and finished last season 4 spots ahead of us with 8 wins last season. In addition to our good fortune in the regular season we have 2 cup wins reaching the quarter finals. We do however have a tough draw with Hollywood being our QF opponent. A win in the cup QF against Hollywood.

The minor leagues Rova has taken a step back over the last few games dropping 2 of 3 games. The good news for Rova is that we are still sitting in 5 points clear of 3rd place and more importantly 8 points clear of 7th place. The split in S24 is coming down the pipeline and Rova is looking like a good bet to be in the upper portion. But there is still a lot of time left, so Rova needs to get back to their winning ways from the first leg of the season to ensure that we can be one of the top six teams.
