Nerve de Groot and the talented players of Uniao Sao Paolo are preparing vigorously for the next chapter in their legendary run. S23 saw the team almost make top dog for two years running but were unfortunately outdone by Hollywood FC, only eight points apart. Uniao Sao Paolo has reviewed its performance and continues its work to be the very best. Seasonal training has seen players strain their abilities to match Hollywood, a common adversary of theirs. Missing out on the lead for the majors and the Cup, Uniao Sao Paolo will have to pick up the pace.
Nerve de Groot comments, “We have a substantial chance to achieve the impossible, winning the majors, minors, and the cup. Several of us are absolute powerhouses who I think can turn the tide of any game. We have gotten close and I believe we have another shot.”
Yomo Hashimoto has a lot of work to do in order to outperform his previous season, achieving 22 assists, the record for most assists in a season. Several other leaders on the team include Julian Rubio for most goals and most player of the matches, 26 and 6 respectively. Hashimoto also leads in chances created, achieving 40 with Cotswold following close behind with 35.
