What does football mean to Tata?
#1
Once upon a time, Tata had heard the legend of the World Cup, and all the incredible history. Now sponsored and organized purely by Amazon, the World Cup had become a spectacle like no other around the globe. The competition has expanded to 128 teams, and spans a quarter of the year. Streamed through multiple platforms, the games are played at most times of the day. If you pop in to a stream, there's surely someone playing. Ivory Coast had made it to the sweet 16 a couple times in the last 20 years, but had been knocked out by a team of All-Stars in a high stakes exhibition match. Those unceremonious exits fueled Tata to become a great enough player to push the Ivory Coast to the mountaintop that is the Coupe de Monde.

He grew up on highlights of some of the IC legends; The strength, pace and finishing of Didier Drogba, the lightning pace of Gervinho and Doumbia, the elegant powerhouse that was Yaya Toure. Their powers and skills weren't enough to hoist the Cup, so Tata knew he had to ascend past them all. Must become stronger than Toure, faster than Gervinho and combine all of these traits to ascend past the iconic Drogba. Succes in a European league will help his legacy, but he had higher ambitions. Bringing the World Cup back to Africa for the first tie would be a dream come true, and Tata is fueled by that dream. That's why he pushes his brother Tolo and teammates in international training. To win, they have to be better than every Ivorian team to come before them. The dedication and sacrifice required is immense, but it drives Tata to work more than anyone else. He will continue his efforts to gain more invuable experience once he is drafted to the SSL; a league comprised of the strongest players on the planet.
