Jerry Svichi's Thoughts on the Preseason

Ok ok, I know what you're thinking. You're looking at our first two preseason games and thinking "No goals?" Yes. I am aware that we have not scored yet, but that's fine, it's only preseason, we're gonna get there. You can't expect to hit the ground at 200 KM/H when you have as many new players as we do here in Inter London. It's a process, and I'm gonna need you to trust in it.

Our GMs here in Inter London? They knew what they're doing. They know how to raise winners. We are going to take what we learn from this preseason and use it to propel ourselves to the top of our league. Once Le Tissier gets warmed up it's just gonna be ball after ball after ball in the back of the net, and our opponents are not even gonna know what hit them. Once Gavin Millar stops getting yellow cards 30 seconds into every game, we won't be giving up any more goals either. And then what happens? A lot of W's for Inter London and a lot of L's for everyone else. This team has a boatload of talent, and soon, everyone is going to realize it and everyone is going to know what we're made of.

So next time you wanna come out here and be like "No goals"? Remember that these are the games that don't count. We're saving our goals for the games that DO.

So Adowa Accra, Buenos Aires, Kaapstad, Montreal United, Sao Paulo, you all better watch out because once the regular season starts, it's gonna be all Inter London, and we're gonna be working on getting promoted right back up to where we were, and once we are, we're gonna run the top flight too. And just so you know, that's not a prediction. It's a spoiler.
