Here is my submission for the s5 Theme Week!

My reasoning for choosing this lineup is as follows:

ST: How can you get past the #s 1 and 2 Strikers in the league? The combination of Forty-Four and Azpilicueta is going to make it absolutely nightmarish for opposing defenders and goalkeepers. Owen is being played as a pressing forward, with his ridiculous speed can be used to harass opposing defenders into making a mistake where his high finishing and composure can easily steal goals after a quick turnover. Connor is a rare combination, a physical freak who isnt slacking technically or mentally. This combination of abilities slots him into position as a complete forward, being able to lead the charge, hold up, or do any number of other jobs that one might need a striker to do.

AM: I chose Rashford because he has amazing abilities in reading the play (18 vision) and picking out a deadly ball (17 passing) for Forty or Azpili to finish with, plus, being part of league leadership also gets us covered in terms of out of league shenanigans!

CM: At Mezzala, I chose Michael Muller because he is a nicely well rounded player, can shoot, can pass, can get into a physical battle, or he can run for days. He is one of the most well rounded players in the league in my opinion and that is an amazing tool to have in the team. For the Box to Box role, I chose Emilliano-Yoichi Isagi. Another player that runs like crazy, Emiliano can go end to end and still bring the pain, whilst still being technical enough for that key pass.

DM: At DM, I chose Budget Busquets as my Ball Winning Midfielder because he is tenacious and with the support role I want him going forward to close down opposition attacks. His Tackling and Marking are unparalleled, and he still has the Passing and Vision to ensure opportunities do not go unnoticed defensively OR offensively.

Back Line: In order (L->R) 6'5 222, 6'4 187, 6'6 249, and 6'9 240. Thats alot of beef. Mike Rup brings attacking prowess to LWB and is a nightmare for poor wide players who are going to be terrorized by that humongous amount of player bearing down on them time and time again. Even better, thats only half of what he can bring. with a good crossing ability, he can also whip a ball into the box if needed, or retreat into his box to keep opposing crosses away from the onrushing attackers. At LCB playing a Ball Playing Defender Stopper, is Squall Vercetti. He can step up and shut down attacks like nobodies business, hes fast enough to do so and big enough to ensure that EVEN if an opponent were to get around him, it wouldnt be long before Squall would be right there again. At the RCB, as another ball playing defender with a defensive role, I have Powdered ToastMan. As the second largest on the line, ToastMan has an absolutely ridiculous 17 jumping reach and superb 16 Positioning which means scant few chances will go by him without something being said on his part. Finally at RWB, Hugh Mann. Both the Tallest and 2nd heaviest on the backline, Mann is a player that has no real weaknesses. His strengths arent as strong as the other players, but he also doesnt have as many potential weaknesses. Plus with 16 pace and Acceleration, its just funny to watch some human that big move that quickly...did we mention he is a totally normal Human from Earth?

Goalkeeper: Alexandra Gunnarsson, What can we say about Gunnarsson other than, being an amazing shot stopper who keeps good command of their area and has amazing reflexes and agility. I think this player is going to have an amazing showing with this team, and woe to the opposition who finds themselves lining up a shot when Gunnarsson is in between the sticks.

Formation: I chose the 4-1-2-1-2 (or 4-4-2 Narrow Diamond as the game calls it) because these players are all smart enough and fast enough to clog the middle of the park. Ideally, with the center all clogged up, opposition teams will have to go wide and cross it in, which is what we want to happen. I dont forsee many of those chances being connected upon. What then happens is that it goes to any of the supremely skilled midfielders who can either choose to possess through the middle, as the team will have more options than the opposition in this area, or they can hoof it up to the supremely skilled and quick Forty-Four or Azpili. Please Enjoy!

Oh god no, never play Busquets as a ball winning midfielder. @twix I blame you for this.

Solid lineup though, especially your massive backline. I'd switch Isagi and Rash, but this is a really solid best 11.
