Inter London is off to a ripping start in their S6 campaign with a riveting win over Buenos Aires! It seems the offseason work the team did materialized on the pitch and the additions they made to the team slotted in quite well. Donna Rumma opened the scoring with a
a beautiful header from a Scud Muffin freekick in the early stages of the match. Rumma has been leading from the back, but had the opportunity to get forward for the set piece and show that they're capable of more than keeping the ball out of the other net! Rumma does lead the backline with strength, but the aerial ability cannot be overlooked as an attacking threat as well. After surviving the first half with the lead, Scuddy would get a hold of the game and finally got on the board after a disappointing rookie campaign. He breaks his duck with an absolutely thunderous strike that lifted the spirits of the whole club, as he's a beloved member of the team. He's always got a fun positive attitude in the locker room and boosts his teammates when they need it. So, when he blasted his strike into the net, the club went positively nuts. Clamence put a bit of a speculative ball into a dangerous area near the top of the box and the defender bungled the clearance. Muffin was there to pick up the pieces and, in a moment of brilliance, put his boot through the ball. The keeper had begun to come out at the potential threat from Clamence's ball in and was caught off-guard when the clearance was ineffective. The shot went right past him and into the middle of the hungry goal. With the brace in hand, London saw the game out well and kept the clean sheet.
