K. Clamence Reviews The Season Thus Far 308 words
#1
7 matches have come and gone and K. Clamence find contentment in his burgeoning career. Though his 3 goals and 2 assists equal less than the 1.0 g/a per game benchmark that he set for himself, it is not so far behind that he cannot meet it in the future. In ranking xG players, Clamence is third overall with 4 xG per game. Of the top 5 xG player, Clamence is first in distance run and first in shots taken. While this leads to a remarkably low finishing efficiency rate, Clamence has demonstrated an incredible motor, grit, and ability to make plays happen.

Moving forward, Clamence certainly feels like he can clean up his game and become more clinical and effective in front of goal. Should he do so, goals are more likely to pour in. There is certainly an element of poor luck as Clamence does lead the league in shots on target. Clamence is also pleased because, in total, he's top 10 in goals, assists, shots, shots on target, key passes, and attempted crosses.

A high volume player who constantly creates opportunities for his team, Clamence ultimately cares, above all, about contributing towards team victories. Goals and assists mean little to the man when he lets down his team. Although Clamence naturally desires personal accolades, he takes more pleasure in elevating the players around him so that they might thrive. After all, a rising tide lifts all ships. If Clamence is to someday retire, he'd rather do so surviving in the memories of the most die-hard fans, remembering his heroic efforts during championship runs, than as a poster boy for failing teams. Success in Clamence's mind will always be team oriented, so Clamence looks at the season thus far and feels contentment not only for his personal development, but for his teams development as well.
