After having finally making his debut in the SSL Academy League a week ago, results looks promising for scottish prodigy Duncan Maxwell and potential interested SSL clubs.
While Maxwell was not quite happy with his first game, at least according to the interview we had with him, he should have good reason to be happy about the next 3 games he has played.
After 4 games Maxwell managed to rise to the top of the current Academy leaderboard in terms of overall Game Rating, powering a respectable 7.78 rating.
With this score he pushed french Offensive Midfielder Dembele-Mbappe to second place (7.62).
Granted Maxwell has only played 4 games compared to the 7-9 games a lot of the current Academy players can muster (due to his late introduction into the starting eleven), so there is still room for error, but nonetheless maybe even room for further improvement.
Maxwell himself was not able to be reached for a comment on this, as he currently focusses on Training Camp and increasing his draft stock through some scouting talks, few weeks before the SSl draft.
We shall keep you posted on news regarding on-field-results, any kind of theatrics and possible landing destinations for the scottish prodigy.
