Viktoria Snooks picked up by SSL Academy

The soccer world (and larger sports world) was shocked today by a press conference by Conner Snooks in the SHL. It turns out, almost 8 years ago Conner had adopted a girl from Austria and kept it secret from sports tabloids for a long time. Conner and his daughter Viktoria sat down at a press conference in Salzburg, where Conner stays during the offseasons of the SHL. Conner talked about how his situation in the SHL gave him an opportunity to give someone a better life, so he chose adoption. Due to the negative light that tabloids have tended to put Conner in, he decided it was best to keep this part of his life a secret. That is until now. Viktoria who is now 19, has been picked up by the SSL Academy and will be working out with other Prospects ahead of the S11 draft. Viktoria mentioned that having a dad who played hockey has helped her understand soccer. Saying quote “both are games of missed opportunity” She of course mentioned that her true role model was her Aunt Eirlys, Conner’s older sister, who has been a dominant force in AS Paris for the past few seasons. Eirlys is of course retiring at the end of S11. Viktoria has been dominant in the local Austrian Youth Leagues, where SSL scouts picked up on her.
