Romana due some luck soon
#1
After a frustrating first couple of games where the team just shrugged to turn good opportunities into goals, the visit of Tokyo was seen as a potential to put things right. But again, luck was not on the side of Romana. Half time came in at one a piece, despite a dominant first half showing. Second half they just ran out of steam a little, although it could have been a different story if the King strike had not been ruled out for offside.
Tyson Núñez was disappointed to be beaten at the back post for the second, and should have been working harder to close down the cross for the third. One of those days.

On to game four then, would we see the first Romana win of the season? Well going a goal down inside the first ten minutes isn’t ideal, but an equaliser just before half time helped the mood in the dressing room. But Reykjavik soon took the lead again, and another mistake by Tyson Núñez was the reason unfortunately. Hesitant in possession, allowing the cross to come in. The team brought it back to all square with just under 15 to play - a decisive quick break and clinical finish. But minutes later Reykjavik broke through and slotted home what turned out to be the winner. It's going to be a long season.
