Jailbird - A Vercetti story - S4C12 Words - 232
#1
Squall found himself sitting in the locker room alone with a pair of people for a change of pace. One was a ghostwriter and the other was the person handling copyrights at a book company - it turns out people were interested in reading about his life. Considering his status in Japan, a foreigner with past ties to delinquency who was now living a life by the books while also having a bit of fame from his time playing professionally in the city's best team at the moment, it made far too much sense to him now that he was confronted by the possibility.

He was able to talk with them for around two hours between practice sessions, enjoying lunch in the process while keeping separate from the rest of the team so as to not cause some sort of dissension in the locker room. Rather funnily so, for Squall had rather little to talk about his teammates. Not that it was a bad thing, it was just that they weren't a crazy gang of sorts like most of the people he had to deal with outside of the club. His relationship with them was mostly professional with the one exception in his trusted center-back friend from the US.

They already had a title, at least. Sounded a bit silly at first but he got around to it rather fast.

"Jailbird - A Vercetti story".
